The role of nurses in the provision of palliative care is fundamental within the multi-disciplinary team. The complexities that surround palliative care are not always ‘black and white’. This module aims to support your daily work as a nurse, provide insight for those who wish to learn more about the field, and strengthen your confidence when encountering difficult situations to help you provide the best quality care.
With a few areas of the module focusing on the palliative care of lung cancer patients, this module largely provides an overview that intends to be useful for all types of nurses, including other types of healthcare professional.

Duration

Accreditation
This module is accredited by the Federation of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN). The RCN cannot confirm the competence of any practitioner. You will receive a certificate via email for your 1 hour of learning upon completion.
