Background
These two modules introduce the treatment principles in ovarian cancer and review the biology of the malignancy. We walk through the role of the cancer nurse specialist as a core member of the multidisciplinary cancer team in long-term management of ovarian malignancies.
The modules focus on topics including identifying and mitigating the side effects of ovarian cancer treatments, complications following surgery, and provide suggestions to facilitate patient counselling.
Please see our disclaimer regarding module content.
Duration
Each e-learning module will take you 60-90 minutes of module-based learning. Saving where you left off, you can dip in and out of the modules whenever you have the time. You are encouraged to take notes/save personal screenshots during the module to reinforce your learning.
Accreditation
The ovarian cancer eLearning modules are accredited by the Royal College of Nursing (RCN). The RCN cannot confirm the competence of any practitioner. You will be able to download your certificate (displayed without the RCN logo) upon completion. If you require a certificate with RCN accreditation then please email [email protected]
